Finally… the birth of our long awaited blog- a detailed journey into our company’s foray into Web Design, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Social Media and Blog management. What started as a personal expression of our company’s trials and tribulations in our ambitious quest to be the next giant global web design conglomerate has since evolved into a compilation of our thoughts, insights and tastes residing in the Web 2.0 universe and more. And we haven’t given up the thought of conquering and dominating the Internet universe either.

 

 

About The Author

The author is in the incumbent Editor-in-Chief and Director of New & Interactive Media at First Wish Solutions LLP who prefers to bring with her to her grave her real age and writes under the pseudonym 'Media Maven'. With over 10 years of traditional and interactive marketing and sales experience within the international publishing and banking industries. A B.A. (Honours) graduate of English Language and Japanese Studies from the National University of Singapore (NUS), she now straddles her left-brain duties exploring new media frontiers for clients, and being the right-brained incumbent wordsmith behind First Wish’s copywriting and editorial work.

Media Maven brings with her a breadth of technical knowledge and field experience in Social Media, SEO (Search Engine Optimization), Web Design and Web 2.0 product development. At First Wish, she manages all technological capabilities surrounding SEM (Search Engine Marketing) & SEO (Search Engine Optimization) offerings. Her sales & marketing experience and understanding of the consumer psyche is put to good use when planning online marketing campaigns or conceptualizing copy for clients. She also serves as client relations manager focusing on client acquisition and retention programs.

While an ideal day would revolve around a good book, a fine Bordeaux and her Miniature Schnauzers, she is also known for her weakness for comedies and sappy feel-good family dramas that depict the triumph of human courage and resilience over adversity. Yes, even the sappy afternoon kind!
